In at least one of the two main polls, Oregon softball begins the 2025 season rated in the top 25.
With 61 points, the Ducks are tied for 23rd place in the USA Softball preseason poll. On January 28, the NFCA survey is released.
In 2024, Oregon lost to eventual national champion Oklahoma in the Norman Regional final after finishing 30-21 overall and 13-10 in Pac-12 play.
At the UNLV Desert Classic on February 7, the Ducks take on Buffalo to start the 2025 campaign.
