Oregon opens as slight underdog against Ohio State in Rose Bowl

No. 1 Oregon is the underdog versus No. 8 Ohio State for the second time this season.

According to Action Network, the Ducks (13-0) started the Rose Bowl as a 1-point underdog against the Buckeyes (11-2). By Sunday at 11 a.m. PT, the spread had shifted to 2.5. 53.5 is the over/under.

This season, Oregon is 7-6 against the spread, losing to Idaho (49.5), Boise State (17.5), UCLA (24.5), Michigan State (22.5), Maryland (24) and Wisconsin (13.5), and covering Oregon State (18.5), Ohio State (+3.5), Purdue (30.5), Illinois (21.5), Michigan (14.5), Washington (17.5), and Penn State (3.5). Six of its games have gone over, and seven have gone under.
