Over the weekend, a number of Oregon high school athletes participated in the 2025 Spokane, where some of the state’s best track and field athletes set some records for the nation in the indoor competition.
Roosevelt’s Aster Jones finished in 7.38 seconds to win the girl’s 60-meter dash. Jones recorded a 7.36 in the preliminary round, the second-best mark in the nation for the event. She finished ahead of California’s Marley Scoggins (7.51) and Washington’s Journey Cole (7.46).
