Oregon freshman offensive lineman Jac’Qawn McRoy to enter transfer portal

This winter, the Oregon Ducks made their first public departure announcement on the transfer site.

Jac Qawn McRoy, a rookie offensive lineman, told Hayes Fawcett of On3 that he will use the gateway when it opens on December 9.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, McRoy, a four-star prospect in the 2024 class, was ranked No. 156 overall and No. 13 among offensive tackles in the nation. McRoy, a native of Pinson, Alabama, was ranked sixth overall and as the top offensive lineman in Oregon’s recruiting class the previous year.

The 6-foot-8, 365-pound tackle, who redshirted this season with the Ducks, has four years left to be eligible.
