As the Oregon Ducks get ready for Saturday’s Big Ten championship game, they are working hard on Wednesday to sign elite football recruits.
On this early national signing day, high school athletes have the opportunity to sign a contract committing them to their future colleges. The Ducks and Dan Lanning have spent months obtaining verbal pledges from the 2025 class, and Wednesday will bring a great deal of commotion along with some closure.

SIGNEES FOR OREGON FOOTBALL 2025 (17)
Smith, Akili Jr.
QB | San Diego, California | 6-5, 200
Akili Smith’s son, a former quarterback for Oregon, is traveling to Eugene. During his three-year varsity career, Smith Jr., a pocket quarterback with praised deep ball accuracy, completed 65.2% of his throws for 6,902 yards, 72 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions. His senior season saw him increase his output on the ground as well, rushing for 379 yards and two scores.
Sagapolutele Jaron-Keawe (Californian flip)
QB | Ewa Beach, Hawaii | 6-3, 210
As a signing day switch from Cal to Oregon, Sagapolutele adds to the long history of Oregon football recruits from Hawaii. The Ducks made a strong late push to sign Sagapolutele, a consistent riser who several recruiting sites now rank as a five-star talent. With 10,653 yards at the end of his high school career, Sagapolutele surpassed current Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel to become the state of Hawaii’s all-time leading passer.
Mark Wiepert (Oregon State flip)
QB | Wilsonville, Oregon | 6-1, 200
Wiepert, who was originally going to Corvallis for baseball, was a steal from the rival Beavers and was given the chance to join Oregon as a quarterback prospect. With an 11-man state championship game record eight touchdowns in a Wilsonville triumph, he had an incredible effort behind center in the Class 5A state championship game. After visiting Oregon, Wiepert signed on Wednesday after receiving an offer on Sunday.
Davison, Jordan
RB | Santa Ana, California | 6-0, 216
Davison, a physically strong power back, joins the Ducks through Mater Dei, a powerhouse from California. 247Sports With adequate speed and burst to make plays outside the box and have NFL potential, Greg Biggins praises Davison’s ability to go between the tackles and gain yards after contact. Davison recorded 159 carries for 1,126 yards and 17 touchdowns in his final season at Mater Dei.
Moore Dakorien
WR | Duncanville, Texas | 5-11, 182
Moore, one of Oregon’s highest-rated prospects ever, is a very productive, quick receiver and the top wide receiver in the 2025 class. He caught 71 receptions for Duncanville High School as a junior, totaling 1,532 yards and 18 touchdowns. Moore, who also competes for Duncanville in track, finished fifth in the state that season with a long jump of 23-7.5 and a junior 100-meter time of 10.40. He might have an immediate impact for Oregon football at the next level.
Wilson, Dallas
WR | Tampa, Florida | 6-3, 195
Wilson, the third-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class, committed to Oregon despite late pressure from Miami and Florida. Wilson, who has been a member of the Ducks since January 17, 2023, is a lankier player with big hands. In his final season at Tampa Bay Tech, he caught 41 passes for 677 yards and nine touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.
Cooper Perry

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Perry is the second-best wide receiver in Arizona and the 18th-best wide out nationwide. He is an elusive wideout with exceptional post-catch abilities. Perry is a talented lacrosse player as well, so if he has free time in between football games, he might play for Oregon’s club lacrosse squad. The swift-footed Perry caught 194 passes for 2,997 yards and 49 touchdowns during his three years as a varsity starter for Notre Dame Prep football.

In addition to being a successful pass-catcher on the football field, he was a two-time all-league basketball player for Troy High School. During his final year, Ploog caught 75 passes for 1,148 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Addison Ziyare

Addison, who plays track and wrestles for Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, is an athletic lineman with a long arms (6–10 measured wingspan). The large man’s 100-meter time as a sophomore was 12.84 seconds. Over the summer, Addison made official trips to Florida and Penn State in addition to Oregon, but he remained committed to the Ducks in June.
Stascausky, Zac
OT | Portland, Oregon | 6-6, 274
The massive Stascausky, a star for Central Catholic, a resolute Oregon powerhouse, remained at home with the Ducks as the state’s top player. After making an official visit to Eugene in late November, the former Washington commit switched to Oregon. Stascausky, a former Rams left tackle, is said to be light-footed and have the capacity to put on weight once he enters collegiate football. But there’s no denying his strength and advantage.
Utu Douglas

Bishop Gorman, a national powerhouse and a highly regarded prospect from Nevada, adds more beef in the middle. In high school, Utu played both guard and tackle and was a four-year starter. He helped the Gaels win a state championship as a junior while playing right tackle. Greg Biggins of 247Sports claims that Utu is equally strong as a pass protector and run blocker and moves effectively laterally.
Manning, Demetri
IOL | Bellevue, Washington | 6-7, 336
Manning will travel down I-5 from Bellevue to join the Ducks. He is a big young guy who played some left tackle in high school but projects as an interior lineman. Some of Manning’s most fascinating qualities in the trenches, according to recruiting evaluators, are his edge and nastiness. According to Greg Biggins of 247Sports, Manning has all the makings of a great guard and a multi-year starter, and he moves well for his stature.
Ohio State flip Na eem Offord

After watching a long video of Dan Lanning welcoming him to Oregon, Offord decided to sign with the Ducks rather than the Buckeyes. With a big frame and all the physical attributes necessary to be a top corner at the next level, Offord is a five-star player overall. 247Sports Offord has the potential to emerge as one of college football’s best cornerback prospects and a possible Top-20 NFL Draft selection, according to Cooper Petagna.
Finney, Brandon

Finney was the first player to sign with the Ducks early on Wednesday morning, despite being a player who was being heavily coveted by Penn State, Oregon’s opponent in the Big Ten championship game. His 11-foot broad leap and physicality as a primarily press-man cornerback who wreaked havoc on opposing wideouts during his high school career are noteworthy. Finney, who played wide receiver at McDonogh School, got four interceptions in his senior year and three in his sophomore year.
Brew, Dorian

After Ohio State put up a fierce fight, another outstanding cornerback decided to join the Ducks. Wyatt is one of the top defensive talents going to Eugene for the upcoming season, joining Mater Dei classmate Jordan Davison from high school. The 247Sports composite rankings place him as the nation’s 181st player overall and 21st linebacker. Wyatt has exceptional agility and a quick first step, making him a potential edge player for Oregon and a pass rusher at the next level.
Matthew Johnson
DL | Concord, California | 6-5, 265
Scouts say Johnson, a strong presence on the interior defensive line, projects as a tackle or three-tech. He signed with the Ducks on Wednesday after reaffirming his commitment to Oregon in February of 2024. According to MaxPreps, Johnson recorded 30 tackles in nine games as a junior, including 14 for loss and 4.5 sacks.
