Eugene Oregon is expected to have 82 scholarship players in 2025. It is anticipated that the Big Ten and SEC would continue to offer 85 scholarships, but roster limitations will drop from 125 to 105 starting in 2025–2026, contingent on the resolution of the House v. NCAA case.

Seniors: 11 (1 redshirt in the seventh year, 5 in the sixth year, 1 in the fifth year, 2 in the redshirt, 2 in the true, and 3 in the walk-on specialists) Matthew Bedford is requesting a medical hardship waiver; Theran Johnson (Northwestern), Isaiah World (Nevada), Alex Harkey (Texas State), and Malik Benson (Florida State) transferred to Oregon; Jamaree Caldwell, Kobe Savage, and George Silva have one year of eligibility left after the court injunction and NCAA waiver from Diego Pavia; Silva returned, and Caldwell and Savage remained in the draft; Noah Whittington, Gary Bryant Jr., and Bedford are automatically eligible for the NFL draft and have the option to opt out; Jordan James, Derrick Harmon, and Josh Conerly Jr. have declared for the NFL draft; Bryce Boettcher has been granted a waiver from the NCAA for the fourth season of football eligibility; Evan Stewart has returned; and Emmanuel Pregnon is transferring from USC.

Juniors: 17 (1 true, 9 redshirt, 1 sixth-year) Makhi Hughes left Tulane, Bear Alexander (USC) and Dillon Thieneman (Purdue) moved to Oregon, while Emarrion Winston (Baylor) and Khamari Terrell (Texas State) transferred.
