The NYPD is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a series of iPhone thefts in Midtown Manhattan. The string of thefts began on August 9, when a 49-year-old woman’s iPhone 15 Pro Max was snatched near Fifth Avenue and West 37th Street.
This was followed by another incident on August 15, when a 33-year-old woman had her iPhone 14 Pro Max stolen near Broadway and West 33rd Street.
On August 16, a 64-year-old woman became the third victim when her iPhone 15 Pro Max was taken on Fifth Avenue.
The most recent theft occurred on August 17 near Fifth Avenue and West 40th Street, where a 22-year-old woman lost her iPhone 15 Pro Max to the thief, who quickly fled into a nearby train station.
