Nonprofit Literary Arts sets opening date for new Portland headquarters, bookshop

On December 7, bookworms will be able to visit a brand-new Central Eastside bookstore that has 12,000 titles.

The literary charity Literary Arts is closing its long-planned relocation from the Pittock Block on Southwest Washington Street to a new headquarters at 716 S.E. Grand Ave., which will also house the store.
