Nominations open for 2025 Oregon Top Workplaces

Not everyone has the good fortune to work for a fantastic company. If you do, you should be commended.

The Oregonian will recognize exceptional workplace culture with Top Workplaces in Oregon and Southwest Washington for the fourteenth year. A Top Workplaces award can be won by any company in the area with 35 or more employees. In the fall of 2025, exceptional businesses will receive recognition.

A nomination is the first step in the process. Nominations are due on February 28. Any organization—public, private, nonprofit, educational, or even governmental—can be nominated.

Visit the Top Workplaces website or give them a call at (503) 427-1666 to suggest an employer or to learn more about the awards.

There is no fee to take part. Employees must complete a quick 25-question survey that takes only a few minutes to complete in order to be considered as an Oregonian Top Workplace. Surveys of businesses will continue until the beginning of May.

The project’s research partner, Energage, based in Pennsylvania, polled over 2 million workers at over 8,000 companies in the previous year and conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 areas across the US.

According to Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, receiving a Top Workplaces award is a unique indicator of quality that distinguishes businesses. This distinction, which is based on real employee feedback, should be a great source of pride because Top Workplaces represent the greatest standards.

Over 3,600 organizations in Southwest Washington and Oregon were asked to poll their staff in preparation for the 2024 awards. 123 were named Top Workplaces based on employee survey responses.
