Although we acknowledge our prejudice, Portland’s food cart scene is unmatched. Excellent food carts are more than just local conveniences. We have them in our lives. Naturally, they require their own category in the Readers’ Choice Awards of The Oregonian.

Last year, Portland was awarded the nation’s greatest food truck city by Food & Wine magazine. It’s easy to understand why there are so many fantastic carts available.
