In the Big Ten Championship game, Eugene, Oregon’s special teams coordinator Joe Lorig had the opportunity to alter the game’s motto for his personnel units.
In 2022, Lorig transferred from Penn State to UO in order to rejoin Dan Lanning, with whom he had collaborated at Arizona State and Memphis. Although the No. 4 Nittany Lions’ offensive and defensive coordinators have changed since Lorig was at PSU, he has 25 years of experience with James Franklin’s strategies from their time together at Idaho State.
