Officials said Monday that all of Multnomah County’s heavily used libraries have moved to the same hours.
In order to streamline staff scheduling and make it easier for consumers to know when they can access libraries, officials said they unilaterally changed the county’s library branches’ business hours. This decision occasionally led to unscheduled closures at some branches this year.
