Montgomery police are currently investigating a mass shooting that occurred overnight, resulting in 9 people being shot and 4 others sustaining injuries. The incident took place around 1:46 a.m. in the vicinity of North Pass Road and Alabama River Parkway.
Upon arrival, officers and fire medics discovered an adult female and a juvenile male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Subsequently, three adult males, two adult females, and two juvenile males arrived at a local hospital via private vehicles, all with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.
Additionally, city officials reported that during the chaotic escape from the scene, one adult female and two adult males were injured in a vehicle-pedestrian collision. Another adult female, who sustained minor injuries from broken glass, self-reported to the emergency room for treatment.

“This morning, more than 300 rounds were fired at a crowded party in the North Pass area,” stated Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed. “Nine were wounded, and at least four more were injured in the chaos that followed. Officers from the Montgomery Police Department, ATF, and FBI are currently interviewing witnesses and suspects. We are working tirelessly to identify those involved, and we urge anyone with information to come forward to help us put a stop to this sort of senseless, violent activity.”
At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
