Man accused of Gresham killing returned to Alaska to face murder charge in presumed killing of his roommate

In February, Aaron Hague will be on trial for the earlier disappearance of his roommate in Alaska, where he is charged with murder and identity theft in the Gresham death in 2021.

As the trial for the alleged August 2020 murder of John McClelland, 61, approaches, Hague’s attorneys informed a judge in Alaska that settlement negotiations are still ongoing.
