The Oregon Ducks have had a busy Wednesday on the transfer portal.
Only a few minutes after Texas State offensive lineman Alex Harkey committed to the Ducks, Louisville tight end Jamari Johnson declared on Wednesday morning that he was transferring to Oregon.

Johnson, a freshman redshirt, is still eligible for three more years. Initially a four-star prospect from Inglewood, California, he used a redshirt and appeared in four games during his rookie campaign with the Cardinals. He weighs 250 pounds and is 6′ 6″.
Prior to his season-ending leg injury against Miami on October 19, 2024, Johnson had 13 receptions for 158 yards and a touchdown in seven games.
With seniors Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert leaving soon, the Ducks needed additional depth at tight end, and Johnson provided it.
