Tony Duncan of Maryland experienced an emotional reunion with his dog, Luna, after she went missing for two years and was discovered in Florida. Luna, known for exploring freely in their wooded area home, chased wildlife into the woods one day and did not return, despite extensive search efforts.
Duncan never gave up hope during the two-year separation, holding onto the belief that Luna would someday come back. His patience was rewarded when Luna was found in a Walmart parking lot in Southern Florida by LaBelle Animal Rescue. Luna was scanned for a microchip, which led rescuers to Duncan. The news of Luna’s discovery prompted Duncan to immediately embark on a 16-and-a-half-hour journey from Maryland to reunite with his beloved pet.
