Intel now has two CEOs. Will it soon be two companies?

Pat Gelsinger, the CEO of Intel, abruptly retiredThe final attempt to revive one of America’s iconic technological companies may mark the end of an era on Monday.

In early 2021, Gelsinger was hired by Intel’s board, which unanimously agreed with his plan to spend tens of billions of dollars upgrading the business’s manufacturing and product portfolio in order to bring the corporation back to its heyday.
