According to the 11th annual U.S. News & World Report Best Cruise Lines rankings, Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Viking Ocean Cruises topped six categories.
The magazine examines eighteen cruise lines and ranks them as the greatest luxury lines, the best in the Caribbean, the best in the Mediterranean, the best for couples, and the best value.
Virgin Voyages, MSC Cruises, and Celebrity Cruises were the top three cruise lines in the new category of best cruise line for the money.
It should come as no surprise that Disney topped both the Caribbean and family categories.
The best line for couples, the best line in the Mediterranean, and the finest luxury line were all won by Viking Ocean Cruises.
According to a press statement, the newspaper is still using what it describes as a thorough and transparent system that considers traveler ratings, expert assessments of ship quality, the outcomes of health assessments, and other pertinent aspects.
