Scheduled for Thursday, July 11th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the hiring event aims to fill over 100 positions, primarily in the culinary department, including roles for experienced Asian cuisine cooks and chefs.
According to reports from WTVO, Hard Rock Casino Rockford is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for cooks and chefs, with competitive wages starting at $23 per hour. The casino’s management anticipates a robust response from prospective candidates eager to join the team for its Labor Day Weekend opening.
YouYu is described as a modern, high-energy venue that has successfully operated at other Hard Rock Casino locations, promising a dynamic addition to Rockford’s culinary scene. Beyond YouYu, Hard Rock Casino Rockford will feature a diverse selection of dining experiences within its expansive 180,000-square-foot facility on E. State Street.
Among the other dining options set to open are Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, a sophisticated steakhouse offering classic American fare, and the iconic Hard Rock Cafe known for its rock ‘n’ roll-themed ambiance and American classics. The casino will also feature a variety of bars and lounges, including Council Oak Bar, Plum Lounge for VIP dining, and Constant Grind for coffee and specialty drinks.
Additionally, the venue will house Street Tacos, Brick’d Italian Kitchen, and Hard Rock Center Bar, catering to a wide range of culinary preferences. The grand opening festivities, scheduled for Thursday, August 29th, will include performances by Brad Paisley, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and another yet-to-be-announced artist at the 2,000-seat Hard Rock Live! concert venue.
