Four-star edge rusher Tobi Haastrup signs with Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks added a distinctive player to their 2025 recruiting class on signing day.

On Wednesday, Tobi Haastrup, a four-star edge rusher, inked a contract with the Ducks. After considering USC, Missouri, and Florida State, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound talent from Houston, Texas, decided on Oregon.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Haastrup, who is originally from London, England, is ranked No. 270 overall and No. 24 in the edge. After just a few months of playing American football as a senior in high school, the former soccer player had over 20 offers.

The Ducks had signed 18 players overall for 2025 after Haastrup’s signing, and that figure is anticipated to rise during a busy early national signing day.
