Four-star 2026 linebacker Tristan Phillips commits to Oregon Ducks

A top recruit from the Class of 2026 committed to the Oregon Ducks, who were on the verge of playing in the Big Ten championship game.

Tristan Phillips, a four-star linebacker, verbally committed to the Ducks on Saturday night. Out of a list that also included Arizona State, Washington, and Oklahoma, Phillips selected Oregon.

Phillips, a native of Ventura, California, is ranked by 247Sports’ composite rankings as the nation’s No. 29 linebacker and No. 350 overall player.

There are already ten commits from Oregon’s highly regarded 2026 class. These include Phillips, five-star quarterback Jonas Williams (Illinois), three-star defensive lineman Viliami Moala (Utah), three-star defensive lineman Dutch Horisk (California), four-star running back Tradarian Ball (Texas), five-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene (California), five-star tight end and basketball player Kendre Harrison (North Carolina), and four-star defensive linemen Bott Mulitalo (Utah), Tomuhini Topui (California), and Tony Cumberland (Oregon).
