Satou Sabally, a former standout of the Oregon women’s basketball team, is looking for a new professional home.
The experienced Sabally told reporters Thursday at the Unrivaled three-on-three women’s basketball league in Miami that she would be departing the Dallas Wings after five seasons.
“I’ve already played my last game in Dallas, so I’m working with (the Wings) to find a next home for me,” Sabally told reporters.
The dynamic 6-4 forward instantly rises to the top of the list of WNBA free agents. She averaged 17.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, five assists, and 1.3 steals per game in 15 games for Dallas last season.
The German national played alongside Sabrina Ionescu for three seasons at Oregon. She declared for the professional ranks one year ahead of Ionescu and was chosen No. 2 in the 2020 WNBA Draft, one spot behind Ionescu.
