Forecast puts Oregon housing construction far short of goal, even into next decade

As her third year draws to a close, Governor Tina Kotek reminded a group of Oregon’s political and business elite that the difficult problems she had taken on as governor were not solved quickly.

On December 9, the governor told the 2024 Oregon Leadership Summit, “I’m keeping my end of the bargain.” We have to stick with what we consider as effective.
