First frost of the season likely for Portland this week, about a month later than normal

After a rainy month, Portland is about to experience a dry and cold Thanksgiving week, which may bring the season’s first frost.

Later this week, Portland will finally become cold enough and clear enough for some frost on the ground, according to Andy Bryant, a hydrologist with the city’s National Weather Service.
