On Tuesday evening, firefighters extinguished a house fire at 3332 E. 17th Street in Vancouver. According to the Vancouver Fire Department, no one was hurt in the fire.
Three minutes after receiving the call, at 9:55 p.m., the first fire engine reached the Harney Heights home. According to fire officials, the fire was extinguished in less than half an hour after the arrival of 27 firefighters, two trucks, and five engines.
Photos taken at the scene reveal extensive fire damage throughout the house and columns of smoke surging into the sky as firemen work.
The cause of the fire is being looked into by the Vancouver Fire Marshals Office.
