Fatal Six-vehicle Collision on I-35 in Argyle THREE DEAD, THREE INJURED, Investigation Underway

ARGYLE – A six-vehicle crash Friday evening on northbound I-35 near Crawford Road in Argyle killed three individuals and wounded three more.

The incident, which occurred at 6:45 p.m., resulted in the shutdown of northbound I-35 lanes for almost five hours.

Two individuals received CPR on the site, while six were transported to Denton hospitals, three of whom were confirmed dead, according to Argyle Police Chief Emmitt R. Jackson.

The identities of those injured or killed in the collision were not immediately known.

The reason for the collision is under investigation. According to Jackson, the regional crash team, which comprises Argyle police and other local agencies, is handling the investigation.
