In women’s basketball, Oregon State gave Washington State a scare, but the Cougars had enough poise and cushion to defeat the Beavers 65-57 at Gill Coliseum on Monday night.
Halfway through the third quarter, OSU was behind 25 points; but, a fantastic fourth-quarter comeback brought the Beavers within three with 1:12 left. After gathering themselves, Washington State made a couple plays and defeated the Beavers to complete the victory and season sweep.
