Driver accused of going 120 mph among 3 arrested in Washington County

Three people were taken into custody by Washington County officials on Sunday and Monday in connection with separate instances of reckless driving.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a BMW driver is accused of traveling at 120 mph on Oregon 6 outside of Tillamook County on Sunday around 6:30 p.m. After the driver, Adrian Henriquez, 21, of Hillsboro, avoided Oregon State Police troopers twice, sheriff’s deputies waited for the BMW near Gales Creek and deflated its tires using spike strips.

Henriquez, however, continued. Henriquez was arrested after the BMW came to a stop close to Jackson School Road on U.S. 26 after police applied more spike strips. The sheriff’s office said he is charged in Tillamook and Washington counties.

Deputies were called to a car crash on Portland’s Northwest Nightshade Drive at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Sunday. According to deputies, the driver, Jesus Solorzano-Lopez, 19, lost control of his 2006 Infiniti G35 and collided into the house. According to the sheriff’s office, Solorzano-Lopez was taken into custody on charges of DUII, reckless driving, and criminal mischief.

Deputies then responded to a call regarding a woman slouched over the steering wheel of a running car at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Monday. According to court filings, deputies allegedly found drug paraphernalia next to the driver when they arrived. Keva Dubuque, a 30-year-old Washington resident, refused to comply and ran away on Southwest Alexander Street. According to deputies, she narrowly missed a pedestrian in a collision near Southwest 170th Avenue before making her getaway on foot.

According to court filings, Dubuque was found by a Hillsboro police K9 team and is currently being charged with reckless driving, DUII, possession of a controlled narcotic, and attempting to avoid police.
