Dicey roads delay school openings in rural Oregon/Washington districts Thursday

Road conditions on Thursday morning have caused several school districts to postpone the start of classes by up to three hours following a day of snow and rain that occurred in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington on Wednesday.

Other schools, including some in Banks and Hillsboro, will place buses on snow routes.

Colton in Clackamas County and Jewel in Clatsop County are two districts that are postponing the start of the school day by up to three hours.

An updated list of bus route adjustments and school delays can be found below. This list is always changing. For the most recent details, return later.
