Damian Lillard, a guard with the Milwaukee Bucks, was chosen as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team in 2025.
This is Lillard’s second All-Star selection with the Bucks and his ninth overall. During his 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, he was selected to seven Western Conference All-Star teams.
Last year, Lillard, who was traded to the Bucks prior to the 2023–24 season, was selected as an Eastern Conference starter.
Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks were selected as starters this season.
On February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, three eight-person teams will be chosen from the East and West player pools for a mini-tournament.
On February 6, the three teams will be chosen by TNT’s Inside the NBA commentators Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith.
Compared to his first season with the Bucks, Lillard is having a stronger statistical season. He averages 25.1 points and 7.3 assists per game, shooting 45.2% from the field and 38.2% from three-point range.
Lillard shot 42.4% from the floor and 35.4% from three-point range with 7.0 assists last season while adjusting to a new team.
In the East rankings, the Bucks (26-19) are ranked fourth.
