According to authorities, one guy was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and another was killed in a collision near Tigard early on Monday morning.
About 12:30 a.m., Tigard police spokesperson Kelsey Anderson said that officers and emergency services arrived at the scene of a two-car collision on Highway 99 West close to Southwest Canterbury Lane.
Investigators found that a guy collided with a sedan while operating a pickup truck with his son in the passenger seat.
According to Anderson, the father and son in the pickup truck refused medical assistance, while the man who was driving the sedan passed away at the scene.
The driver who made the pickup was arrested while charges were pending.
Later on Monday, Anderson promised to identify the crash’s participants. Six hours before the morning rush, the roads were closed.
