The theft occurred earlier this week at approximately 2:00 a.m. on a CTA train. The suspect, described as a Black male in his late twenties to mid-thirties, targeted an elderly passenger, abruptly seizing her purse before fleeing the scene.
Surveillance footage and witness accounts reveal that the suspect carefully assessed the platform before executing the crime.
