This fall, Kelsey was selected to the Rams’ first team all-state wide receiver. He was a difficult player for opposition defenders to cover because of his height. Central Catholic finished the season with an 11-1 record and lost to Lake Oswego in the state quarterfinals, making the receiving tandem, along with D Marieon Gates, one of the most formidable in the state.
According to 247Sports, Kelsey is a three-star recruit who had previously committed to Eastern Washington. After receiving offers from Portland State, the Air Force, Colorado State, and Nevada, he decided to leave the Eagles in November.
