According to officials, a potentially armed suspect was found inside a Southeast Portland company after police responded to a burglary report around five in the morning on Monday.
According to police, the Special Emergency Reaction Team and Crisis Negotiation Team of the Police Bureau quickly arrived at the site in the 2400 block of Southeast 10th Avenue in an attempt to safely take the suspect into custody. In the Hosford-Abernethy neighborhood, police shuttered nearby streets and advised residents to stay indoors.
According to the police, cops brought the suspect into custody without any problems after entering the building at around 7:30 a.m.
