Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix learns difficult, but valuable lesson in losing playoff debut

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.—After a pleasant beginning, Bo Nix’s first taste of the NFL playoffs swiftly turned bitter.

On the first possession of Sunday’s wild-card playoff game, Denver’s rookie quarterback fired a 43-yard touchdown pass to his old Oregon teammate Troy Franklin. However, the Broncos lost to the Bills 31–7 and never scored again.
