Burlington International Airport is growing by adding a new and attractive travel destination.
In order to provide travelers with a direct path to the center of the Lowcountry, Breeze Airways will start operating seasonal nonstop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, on May 30.
As part of the airline’s continuous expansion, these additional flights will be offered for as little as $49 one way.
The airline currently offers flights from Burlington to a number of well-known destinations, such as Fort Myers, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Raleigh-Durham.
Travelers from Vermont will now have a convenient way to experience the warmth and charm of South Carolina’s coastal metropolis thanks to the new Charleston route.
New nonstop routes to Albany, New York; Rochester, New York; and Burlington, Vermont, will give Lowcountry tourists even more alternatives to explore the Northeast this summer.
It is evident that Breeze Airways is improving the services it provides. There are now 25 nonstop destinations from Charleston, and more flights will be added soon.
Breeze’s strategy has been characterized by a heavy emphasis on underrepresented markets as it grows.
Its strategy of operating flights to minor airports has worked well, providing customers with greater flexibility and cheaper costs.
In actuality, Breeze offers average fares that are 44% less expensive than those of competing airlines.
Following the airline’s stellar financial results in the fourth quarter of 2024, Breeze Airways is expanding, adding additional flights from Charleston and Burlington.
With $680 million in revenue at the end of the year—a notable 78% increase over the previous year—the company recently reported its first full quarter of operating profit.
As Breeze expands its network of destinations and serves passengers looking for reasonably priced, direct flights to different regions of the nation, this trend is anticipated to continue.
