Biden administration advances Coquille tribe plan for Medford casino, shifting Oregon’s gaming landscape

The Coquille Indian Tribe would run the second casino in southern Oregon, and the federal government is getting closer to approving it.

Oregon’s long-standing but shaky agreement, put in place under recent governors, that tribes may only run one casino on their designated territory might be overturned if it is finally approved following a 30-day public comment period.
