An Oregon school district closed for 3 days because of internet outages

Due to equipment failure affecting the district’s internet access, about 3,000 children in the Central School District in and around rural Marion and Polk County areas have been absent from school for the last three days.

Although a spokeswoman stated Wednesday afternoon that it appeared they were nearing a settlement, it was not immediately apparent when the district’s schools will reopen.
