Albertsons Cos. informed state officials on Wednesday that it will be closing a Roseburg store in February and laying off 87 employees.
The grocery chain, which also owns Safeway, is based in Boise and said it informed the staff of the shop at 3013 N.W. Stewart Parkway about its closure plans on Friday. According to Albertsons, some staff members might stay on after the store’s scheduled closure on February 7.
