Oregon quarterbackDillon Gabriel is the quarterback of the year and the offensive player of the Big Ten.
Gabriel was voted Griese-Brees quarterback of the year and Graham-George offensive player of the year. He has ran for 175 yards and seven scores and thrown for 3,275 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
The coaches and media of the conference selected him and left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. to the first team all-Big Ten. The media, but not the coaches, selected outside linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei, who leads the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks, for the first team defense. The media’s initial choice for the job is long snapper Luke Basso.
The second team recipients are linebacker Bryce Boetccher, running back Jordan James, and receiver Tez Johnson. As a return specialist, Johnson is also selected by the coach for the second team. The coaches select Uiagalelei for the second team, while the media selects defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, and right tackle Ajani Cornelius. The coaches at Long Snapper chose Basso for the second team.
Jordan Burch, a defensive end, was chosen for the third team. The coaches chose Cornelius, guard Marcus Harper II, and Harmon on the third team, while the media selects tight end Terrance Ferguson on the third team.
