Bo Nix: ‘I’m good to go’ for Monday’s game against the Cleveland Browns

According to Bo Nix, he will be prepared to play.

The Broncos of Denver listed Due to a back issue, Nix was designated as a limited participant in a session last week. Near the conclusion of the team’s 29-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week, Nix was observed receiving back therapy from the athletic training staff. Despite having a back ailment, Nix played the entire game.

He appeared to have full range of motion during practice on Friday, despite the team listing him as limited during the walk-through on Thursday. Nix said he was prepared to play Monday night against the Cleveland Browns.

On Friday, Nix told reporters, “I’m ready to roll, I’m good to go.”

Nix has been playing well lately, and the Broncos (7-5) need him to keep up his good work as they look to make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.

The team rookie record of 14 touchdown passes, set by Marlin Briscoe in 1968, has been surpassed by Nix’s 16 touchdown passes this season. In the last three games, he has thrown eight touchdown passes; in the last five games, he has thrown eleven. He has scored 20 touchdowns (16 passing, four running) and had no turnovers in the last 10 games. All of his touchdown throws have occurred in his last nine games.

Nix is excited about the Broncos’ chance to be in the national limelight for their primetime game.

On Friday, Nix told reporters, “These are great [games], and [they are] why you play this sport.” This is your motivation for playing the game and your NFL aspirations. You feel like you’re playing one of the best men every week. The league is excellent, and the quality is exceptional. We are limited to worrying about ourselves. All we have to do is concentrate and act.
