In the OSAA Class 5A football state championship game on Friday night at Hillsboro Stadium, Wilsonville went ahead early and easily defeated Mountain View 56-35. It was the Mark Wiepert show.
With 271 passing yards and three touchdowns, 169 rushing yards and five running scores, Wiepert, a senior who was the Wildcats’ top receiver the previous season, put on an offensive show that will never be forgotten.
