Former Oregon State Beavers’ star expected to play with the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day, Brandin Cooks is probably going to play for the Dallas Cowboys against the New York Giants.

Cooks is anticipated to participate as the Cowboys try to win their second straight game after dropping their previous five, according to team CEO Stephen Jones.

We’re hopeful that we’ll keep getting guys back. “I believe Cooks will play for us (on Thanksgiving),” Jones said to Dallas’s 105.3 The Fan radio station.

Cooks missed his seventh consecutive game when the Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders 34-26 last week. Cooks hasn’t played since Week 4 due to an infection that developed in his knee after surgery.

The Cowboys decided not activate Cooks, 31, from injured reserve, despite his return to practice last week raising hopes that he may play against the Commanders.
