Tiny Oregon school district slashes budget, announces lay-offs due to ‘accounting errors’

In an effort to close the gap, which represents almost one-fifth of the district’s $20 million yearly budget, Superintendent Derek Fialkiewicz announced that the district will lay off three teachers, three administrators, and four classified employees.
