How to start an SSI application online
For many applicants, it is much more comfortable to apply online and they may feel better. First, select the option that is suitable for you. Choose the option when you visit SSA’s website: https://www-origin.ssa.gov/ssi/. It is below the Option 2 section.

- Seniors aged 65 need to request an appointment
If you are 65 years old and you need to make an appointment, prepare your Social Security Number, name, birth date, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

Once you have chosen the aforementioned option, you will come across a Benefits Application Terms of Service page. After reading this information, if you agree with them, tick the box “I understand and agree to the above statements”.
