2 KILLED, 1 INJURED IN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING at Nashville's Hartman Park Police Investigating

NASHVILLE, Tenn – A shooting that took place overnight at Hartman Park resulted in the deaths of two persons and injuries to at least one member of the public, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

Approximately one hour before one o’clock in the morning on Sunday, August 25, police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Tucker Road, where a gathering had taken place.

An individual named Dominque Miller, who was 21 years old, was found lying in the parking lot with several gunshot wounds. Officers located him in the parking lot. According to the officials, he was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away there.

According to the Nashville Police Department, a private car was used to transfer a second victim to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. It was determined that the victim, Jamontez Johnson, who was 26 years old, had passed away in the hospital.

Later on, a third male victim, age 21, went to the police station to report that he had been shot during the event that took place at the park, as stated by the authorities. His wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.

A call to Crime Stoppers at the number 615-742-7463 is being requested from anybody who may have information on the deaths of Miller and Johnson. In situations involving homicide, callers have the option of remaining anonymous and may be eligible for a financial reward of up to $5,000.
