Jadon Canady, a former defensive back for Tulane and Mississippi, declared his commitment to the Ducks on Monday.
After Purdue’s Dillon Thieneman, Canady, a safety, is the second transfer safety to join the Ducks this offseason. He has one year left of eligibility.

Canady, who spent the previous season playing mostly at STAR safety for the Rebels, recorded 38 total tackles, 21 of which were solo, and 11 passes defended. Prior to logging into the portal on December 19, he was selected by the College Football Network for the All-SEC second team.
