On Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, the Portland Trail Blazers might be without backup big Robert Williams III and starting forward Jerami Grant.
Both have right knee pain and are rated as doubtful.
In the second quarter of Saturday night’s 114-98 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Williams left the game and did not come back.
Kris Murray, a forward, is also doubtful due to a left quad injury.
Scoot Henderson will start in Grant’s place if he is unable to.
Denver has its own problems with injuries. Aaron Gordon (right calf injury management) and Jamal Murray (left knee inflammation) are likely. However, Michael Porter Jr.’s stiffness in his left hamstring raises doubts.
Peyton Watson (right knee sprain) and Russell Westbrook (left hamstring strain) are sidelined.
Before the All-Star break, the Blazers (23-30) must win at least one of their next two games against the Nuggets (34-19).
Both Monday and Wednesday, the two teams play at 6 p.m.
