Banks High math teacher faces new sex crime allegations from 2009

After deputies claim they have discovered a second victim, Wymon Smith, a math instructor accused of sexually abusing a pupil at Banks High School, was detained once more on Thursday.

Five more accusations, including first-degree sexual assault and sodomy, were added to an indictment filed Monday in Washington County Circuit Court. The charges were allegedly committed against a girl under the age of eighteen in 2009 and 2010.
