Multnomah County considering 2 finalists for chief operating officer job

County of Multnomahis selecting Libra Forde, a seasoned nonprofit director and community leader, and Christopher Neal, a longtime security director who oversaw the renovation of Portland International Airport, to fill the influential role of county chief operating officer, according to documents obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive show.

Following the resignation of former Chief Operating Officer Serena Cruz in September, the county began looking for a replacement. The position has been filled temporarily by Travis Graves, the county’s former deputy chief operating officer.
